His father is a Vetnery Doctor name is Dr.V.Chitravel and his mother is novelist her name is Megala.

Vetrimaran is not only a director he is also a Producer, Screen Writer for Tamil Movies. His wife 

name is Aarthi and he have two children's.He was Moved Cuddalore to Ranipet, Ranipet which is 

Present in Vellore District.

Career :

            Vertimaran was worked in the year of 1999 for Sun TV with the famous director Balu

Mahendra.He was worked with Director Kathir who is direct the Kadhalar Dhinam and Kadal 

Desam. He was worked with kathir for 2 Years.

       Vetrimaran first film is worked with Dhanush. The movie Name is Polladhavan which is 

released in the year of 2007. For this movie vetrimaran got the Vijay Award for Best Director.
